Overview
The primary aim of the challenge is to provide innovative and practical solutions to the challenges of migration, blending theoretical analysis with real-world, actionable solutions that are grounded in academic competence and practical feasibility.
Eligibility criteria for The Geneva Challenge:
Applicants must:
- Be graduate students (master’s level or equivalent) enrolled in a post-bachelor university program at the time of registration, with a maximum duration of 2 years.
- Form teams of 3 to 5 students, offering an interdisciplinary approach or at least 2 different disciplinary perspectives.
- Provide proof of enrollment for all team members (must include name, program, and issuance date within 3 months or validity beyond registration).
- All team members must be enrolled at registration; exceptions may be made for students transitioning into graduate studies if already accepted into a graduate program
Value of The Geneva Challenge:
- First Prize: CHF 10,000 (for the top team).
- Second Place: CHF 5,000 (for each of two teams).
- Third Place: CHF 2,500 (for each of two teams).
Application:
- Registration deadline: 24 April 2026 at 23:59 CET.
- Submission deadline: 11 July 2026 at 23:59 CET.
