The Smithsonian Institution is offering graduate fellowships to the US and the non-US citizens. The fellowships are given to scholars for conducting independent research at the Smithsonian’s 19 units and research centers.
Eligibility for The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program (SIFP):
- The applicants for the Smithsonian Institution Graduate Student Fellowships, 2020 can be either the US or the non-US citizens.
- The candidates whose native language is not English should have the be fluent in English.
- The past or current fellowship recipients are eligible to apply.
- The employee or contractor of the Smithsonian Institution should not hold a Smithsonian fellowship during their employment or contract.
- The fellowship will not be given to the person who has been employed by the institution in the previous year without the prior approval of the Office of Fellowships.
Application procedure:
