Marshal Papworth Scholarship at University of Reading 2025

The Marshal Papworth Scholarship is offered at The University of Reading to talented individuals who demonstrate that they have the potential, at the end of their Master's program, to motivate people and communities in their home country towards positive change.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be domiciled in the selected group of countries.
• Applicants must intend to pursue one of the following programs at GIDAE:
  • Agriculture and Development,
  • Applied International Development,
  • Climate Change, Environment and Development,
  • Communication for Development,
  • Food Security and Development.
• Applicants must have evidence of work or voluntary experience working in community development or agricultural development. 
• Applicants must have a 2:1 or first-class degree at the undergraduate level.

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must have an offer of admission to one of the eligible programs at the university.
• The candidates must complete and submit an online application to be considered for the scholarship.
• Shortlisted candidates are reviewed by a selection panel from the Marshal Papworth Scholarship.
