The Michelle Zalkin Scholarship at University College London (UCL) 2024

The Michelle Zalkin Scholarship, offered by the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, provides exceptional students with a demonstrated interest in child protection the opportunity to pursue an MSc in Paediatrics and Child Health. This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Michelle Zalkin to promote excellence in safeguarding and child protection.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have an unconditional or conditional offer to study the UCL MSc in Paediatrics and Child Health program for entry in September 2024 for full-time or modular/flexible.

Applicants from other programs are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The Michelle Zalkin Scholarship is an individual award of £10,000 per academic year.
• The award amount will be deducted from the cost of fees, and any additional funds will be provided to the successful student as a cheque payment at the start of the program.

Application Process:

• Submit an application to Katherine Irwin (ich.paediatrics@ucl.ac.uk) by 5 pm on June 28, 2024.
• Late applications will not be considered.
• Successful applicants will be contacted by August 2, 2024. If not contacted by this date, the application is considered unsuccessful.
