J.Y. Grbavac Secondary Teaching Scholarship at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The J.Y. Grbavac Secondary Teaching Scholarship is funded by Julie Grbavac, an alumna of The University of Western Australia and former secondary school teacher. The scholarship supports high-achieving students who wish to begin postgraduate studies in secondary education, helping address teacher shortages and encouraging careers in teaching.

Eligibility requirements for the J.Y. Grbavac Secondary Teaching Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be a domestic student.
• Have applied to enroll in the first 24 points of one of the following programs: Master of Teaching (Secondary), or Graduate Diploma in Education at The University of Western Australia.
• Demonstrate high academic achievement in previous studies.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 5,000.
