The Department of Science & Technology (DST) has launched several ground-breaking programs to encourage deserving students to major in the natural and basic sciences at colleges and universities and to pursue careers in research in fields such as engineering, medicine, agriculture, and veterinary sciences through the different INSPIRE components.
Eligibility Criteria for INSPIRE Fellowship:
- INSPIRE Scholar having secured minimum 70% marks (or CGPA equivalent) in aggregate at M.Sc.
- 1st Rank Holder with minimum 70% marks at University level examination in PostGraduate (PG) level examinations in Basic/Applied Sciences including Engineering, Pharmacy, Agricultural sciences, and Veterinary Sciences from any recognized University and academic Institutions (Excluding Autonomous Colleges) in India.
- Candidates who are Indian Citizens and have acquired their eligibility for INSPIRE Fellowship during the years 2022 and 2023 are eligible to apply.
