    The main purpose of the Deloitte Prize in Advanced Financial Accounting is to recognise and reward academic excellence by awarding the student who achieves the highest mark in ACCTG 311 Financial Accounting at the University of Auckland.

    Eligibility Criteria for the Deloitte Prize in Advanced Financial Accounting:

    Applicants must:

    • Be a full-time student at the University of Auckland.
    • Be enrolled in and have completed ACCTG 311 Financial Accounting.
    • Have achieved the highest overall mark in the course.
    • Have achieved a minimum grade of A-.
    • In the event of a tie, have achieved the highest mark in the final examination.
    • Meet the standard of merit required by the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance.

    Value of the Deloitte Prize in Advanced Financial Accounting:

    The Prize is valued at $200 and is awarded annually.

    Application Process:

    No separate application is required. All eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
