Introduction:

This award has been established in memory of Catherine Campbell, an active member of the Truro police force who passed away in 2015. Catherine was described as brave, beautiful, and strong – and as a woman who once she set a goal, she achieved it, regardless of any obstacles.

Eligibility requirement for Catherine Campbell Perseverance Award at Holland College:

Must be a female-identifying cadet
Must be graduating from the Police Science (Cadet) program at Holland College
Must demonstrate: perseverance, a “never give up” attitude,determination in achieving goals despite obstacles
The award is nomination-based, meaning students do not apply directly; eligible cadets are nominated by faculty or program representatives.

Value of the scholarship:

CAD 500 award is available to support a full-time student
