Walker-Buchanan Founders Award
j.Charles Walker is the founder of the School of Visual Communication Design (VCD), serving as the School's first director in 2002. Professor John Brett Buchanan served as faculty and founder of Glyphix, an award-winning student staffed design studio. Together, Walker and Buchanan created this scholarship for outstanding VCD students.
Eligibility criteria -
- The applicant must pursue VCD major at Kent campus.
- They must demonstrate academic excellence.
- They must submit outstanding portfolios in Graphic Design, Illustration, or Photography.
Application process -
- The applicant must surpass all the additional requirements the University sets for admission.
- They must submit a PDF portfolio of 10 samples of your work (10 pages maximum).
