Overview

The Al Qasimi Foundation is offering research grants for Ph.D. students of all nationalities. Candidates must be studying in Universities in UAE or abroad.

Eligibility Criteria of the Grant:

  • The applicants may come from any nationality.
  • The applicants must be Ph.D. students in good academic standing at an accredited university.
  • The applicants should be ready to conduct research and have completed all the Ph.D. coursework.
  • The candidates should have a TOEFL score of at least 85 or an IELTS score of 6.5 if English is the secondary language.
  • The research proposal should be approved by their advisor and should include a literature review and significant detail on the research methodology.
  • The research proposal should be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the applicant's home institution.
  • The research proposal should address education, public policy, or related social science issues or questions.

Documents Required: 

  • The applicants for the Al Qasimi Foundation's Doctoral Research Grants, 2024 should submit curriculum vitae with an education background, work and research experience, publications, and awards.
  • Current official transcript of applicant's doctoral program
  • The applicants should also submit two reference letters one from the applicant’s doctoral advisor and the other should be academic.
