Vienna University of Economics and Business is offering Vienna University Merit Scholarship Grants to students with excellent academic achievement.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of Vienna University Merit Scholarship Grants should have an EEA member country citizenship or Austrian citizen status.
- Applicants must have enrolled in a regular program at the University.
- Applicants are required to have excellent academic performance in a WU degree program in the 2017/18 academic year.
- Candidates applying for Vienna University Merit Scholarship Grants should satisfy the academic requirements corresponding to the course they applied for:
- Bachelor’s Program in Business, Economics, and Social Sciences:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 52 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.5 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Bachelor’s Program in Business Law
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 52 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.7 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Master’s programs
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 52 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Doctoral Program in Social and Economic Sciences
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 19 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Doctoral Program in Business Law:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 18 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Ph.D. Program in Finance:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 22 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- PhD Program in International Business Taxation:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 29 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- PhD Program in Economics and Social Sciences:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 28 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- A GPA of 1.0 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Individual study programs with WU focus:
- Applicants must have completed program-relevant courses worth at least 52 ECTS credits in the AY 2017/18
- For applications for an individual study program, transcripts for all exams taken for the individual study program and any official credit transfer notifications (for recognized exams) must be submitted
- A GPA of 1.5 in the academic year 2017/18 must have been achieved
- Applicants of Vienna University Merit scholarship Grants, 2018 who are not Austrian citizens should submit supporting documents with regard to equal status.
