Robin Oliver Tax Policy Scholarship was established in 2019 in recognition of Robin Oliver, a former Inland Revenue Deputy Commissioner and expert on the New Zealand tax system. The scholarship intends to encourage and support a student to undertake postgraduate study in the area of tax law at the University of Auckland.
Eligibility for Robin Oliver Tax Policy Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Be enrolled in tax-related studies at an eligible university in New Zealand.
- For University of Auckland: be undertaking postgraduate study in Tax Law and meet the required academic standards.
- For Victoria University of Wellington: be an undergraduate student in at least the third year studying taxation.
- Demonstrate strong academic merit and interest in tax policy.
