The Hyun Family Korea Scholarship at University of Queensland 2026

The Hyun Family Korea Scholarship supports University of Queensland students undertaking an exchange program in South Korea. It aims to encourage the next generation of Korean Studies scholars by enhancing their understanding of Korean language, history, and culture through international study.

Eligibility Criteria for The Hyun Family Korea Scholarship at University of Queensland:

Applicants must:

• Be a current University of Queensland (UQ) student.
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or honours program.
• Be studying a major or field in Korean at UQ.
• Have been accepted into the UQ Abroad Program at a host university in South Korea.
• Not hold another travel grant or scholarship.
• Not have previously received the Hyun Family Korea Scholarship.

Applicants must submit an online application form.

Value of the scholarship:

Successful applicants receive AUD 5,000 for one year to support their overseas study experience.
