The purpose of the scholarship is to enable undergraduate students studying Korean language courses, who have an interest in journalism, media, and/or communications, to participate in semester-long exchange programs in South Korea.
Eligibility Criteria for The Hyun Family Korea Scholarship at University of Queensland 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a major or field of study in Korean at UQ.
- Not hold another travel grant or scholarship.
- Not previously held the Scholarship and;
- Have been accepted into the UQ Abroad Program at a host university in Korea.
Application Process:
Students should go through an application process that primarily includes submitting an online application form.
Value of the scholarship:
Two scholarships worth AUD 5,000 are awarded annually based on the head's recommendation.
