Women in Data Science New Zealand Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington

This scholarship, funded by Women in Data Science New Zealand, supports female students pursuing a career in Data Science. It provides financial assistance to help them continue their studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington while promoting local talent.

Eligibility Criteria of Women in Data Science New Zealand Scholarship:

1. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate programme in Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in 2025.
2. Open to both domestic and international students.

Selection Criteria: Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in Data Science, maintain a solid academic record, possess effective communication skills, and have a clear vision of their potential impact in the field.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: Between NZD 1,500 - NZD 2,000.

Note:

1. The recipient will be expected to attend the Women in Data Science New Zealand 2025 event, which will be held on 18 August in Wellington.
2. The Scholarship cannot be deferred to a later year.
