Eligibility for the Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Have achieved a minimum of Merit at NCEA Level 2 (or equivalent such as CIE/IB)
Be studying NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent) toward University Entrance in the year of application
Intend to enroll full-time in the first year of an undergraduate degree at Waikato Management School
Plan to take at least one Accounting paper
Be a New Zealand citizen, NZ resident, or Australian citizen/permanent resident domiciled in New Zealand

Gap year applicants must:

Not have completed any degree-level study during the gap year
Have achieved Merit at both NCEA Level 2 and 3 and University Entrance
Provide a valid explanation for the gap year.

Value of the Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship:

Each scholarship is valued at $1,000, paid as a lump sum.
