Overview

South Australia Department of Education STEM Scholarships 2023 are offered by the Government of South Australia for school students to pursue science and Mathematics in School. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be commencing SACE Stage 1 in 2023 to complete SACE Stage 2.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a government school.
  • The applicant must be the holder of a school card (not required for Aboriginal learners).
  • The applicant must demonstrate an interest in STEM subjects (C minimum in year 10 maths and science).
  • The applicant must intend to pursue at least 1 of the following SACE Stage 2 subjects; Mathematics (Methods or Specialist), Chemistry, or Physics.
  • The applicant must be willing to participate in a mentoring program held in a location other than the student's school.
  • The applicant must be willing to attend a STEM scholarship induction with the teacher-mentor.
