2026 S2 Advanced Indonesian Language Travel Bursary

The 2026 S2 Advanced Indonesian Language Travel Bursary supports qualified teachers of Indonesian who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Education through the LEAP program.

Eligibility criteria for the 2026 S2 Advanced Indonesian Language Travel Bursary:

• The applicant must be a qualified teacher of Indonesian seeking to achieve Advanced level proficiency.
• The applicant must be enrolled in a postgraduate program at the university.
• The applicant must be enrolled in a Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences or Education program at the university.
• The applicant must have completed the Graduate Certificate in Teaching Indonesian (C1153).
• The applicant must be enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Asian Languages (G1072).
• The applicant must have undertaken the ACICIS language immersion program in Indonesia for one semester, either full-time or part-time equivalent.

Application process for the 2026 S2 Advanced Indonesian Language Travel Bursary:

• The applicant must complete the online application form and attach the required documents by the closing date. 
• The applicant must submit a full academic transcript.
• The applicant must submit a cover letter explaining the applicant's language teaching experience and Graduate Diploma study plan through ACICIS.
• The applicant must submit a letter from their principal explaining how advanced language training will contribute to their school's language program, or a letter from a qualified academic referee commenting on their language studies.
• The bursary is paid as a single $1,000 payment after unit and ACICIS enrolment.

Award: AUD 1,000
