Eligibility Criteria for Puksta Scholars Program:

Applicants must be Denver residents and/or have attended a Denver high school.
Applicants must be incoming first-year or transfer students.
Applicants must demonstrate significant financial need through the FAFSA or CASFA.
Applicants must complete the required scholarship application and essay questions.
Applicants must show an interest in civic engagement, community involvement, and social responsibility.
Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and fulfill program responsibilities to renew the scholarship.

Value of Puksta Scholars Program:

A $6,500 scholarship, renewable for up to four years, subject to meeting program and academic requirements.

Application Process:

Applicants must complete the scholarship application and submit responses to the required essay questions covering their social justice interests, personal motivations for community engagement, proposed civic engagement project, and the connection between their academic interests and community work.
