Introduction:
The Samit & Reshma Sharma Excellence Award in Culinary and Pastry Arts This award recognizes outstanding students within the Culinary Institute of Canada who have demonstrated exceptional achievement during their first year of study. This award is for students who have demonstrated a strong combination of academic leadership, financial need, volunteerism, peer collaboration and personal growth. Nominations for overall excellence in their program are submitted by faculty and staff.
Eligibility requirements for the Samit & Reshma Sharma Excellence Award in Culinary and Pastry Arts at Holland College:
- Must be entering second year of one of the eligible programs.
- Must have completed first-year studies in:
- Culinary Arts
- Pastry Arts
- Must demonstrate strong performance in academics, leadership, financial need, volunteerism, peer collaboration, and personal growth.
Value of the scholarship:
A CAD 2,400 grant is awarded to a full time student.
Application Process:
- Students must be nominated by staff or faculty of the Culinary Institute of Canada.
