Introduction:
The PEI Literacy Alliance, Master Packaging Award for Graduates of a GED Program supports Holland College students who completed a CAEC (formerly GED) to achieve their high school equivalency.
Eligibility requirement for PEI Literacy Alliance, Master Packaging Award for Graduates of a GED Program at Holland College:
- Must be entering the first or second year of a Holland College program.
- Must have completed a CAEC (formerly GED) program.
- Preference given to caregivers of dependents and members of designated vulnerable groups.
Value of the scholarship:
A CAD 1,500 is awarded to support a full-time student
Application Process:
- Complete the award application.
- Upload proof of CAEC/GED completion.
- Indicate whether you identify as a member of an eligible vulnerable group.
- Submit before April 2, 2026.
NOTE:
There will be an opportunity for one recipient each year to speak at the annual PEI Literacy Alliance “Celebration of Learning” event. There will be a $500 speaking honorarium available for this event which is held in November at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall. The expected recipient speech will be 1-2 written pages about the recipient’s learning journey and how the award has affected their life.
