Parent and Family Scholarship at Northeastern University 2025

The Northeastern University, Boston provides for the Parents and Family scholarship, which offers an opportunity to the family members of the Northeastern alumni to achieve their educational goals by bridging the delay in their educational journey.

Eligibility Criteria for the Parents and Family Scholarship:

• The application is open to all nationals.
• Parents and siblings of full-time undergraduate day students are eligible for the scholarship.
• To be eligible for the discount, you must submit the Northeastern ID number of your child or sibling—who must be a currently enrolled full-time undergraduate day student—at the time of your application.

Application Process:

• The discount applies to tuition only. 
• If you are offered other grant aid from Northeastern, only the scholarship of higher value will be applied.
• Northeastern reserves the right to verify the family size and structure reported by the undergraduate day student in their financial aid application to ensure it aligns with the information submitted by the Parent and Family Scholarship applicant.
• Students enrolled in pass-through programs, such as Direct Entry Nursing or the PlusOne accelerated master’s program, are not eligible for the Parent and Family Scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The scholarship covers only the Tuition fees. It offers a discount of 25% Tuition fee.
