Our Kids Paediatric Healthcare Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026

Introduction: 

Our Kids is a self-funded Trust that operates under the Northern NSW Local Health District.The scholarship celebrates a student who is working as a paediatric nurse, midwife, or allied health professional specialising in paediatric care and shows a strong commitment to improving paediatric healthcare outcomes in the Northern Rivers.

Eligibility requirement for Our Kids Paediatric Healthcare Scholarship at Southern Cross University :

• Be currently enrolled in, or be commencing/applied for, the Master of Healthcare Leadership at Southern Cross University.
• Be employed by Northern New South Wales Local Health District (NNSWLHD) and be currently working as a paediatric nurse, midwife, or allied health professional specialising in paediatric care.

Value of the scholarship:

AUD 4,000 award is available to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Applicants must complete the general scholarship application and submit a 100–200 word introductory statement outlining their motivation for applying and future goals.
• Applications are assessed based on eligibility, demonstrated hardship, and commitment to the Northern Rivers region.
• The introductory statement (100–200 words) which includes why they are applying for the scholarship and what they hope to achieve in the future through the completion of their chosen degree.
• Selected applicants are awarded a scholarship based on committee review of responses and supporting information.
