The OKS aims to provide top-tier international candidates with support for MSc-level postgraduate studies in the hopes that, upon graduation, these scholars will significantly impact urban development by utilizing the DPU's leading position in the development field and its strong international perspective. In the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, development planning work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America was reoriented by the pragmatic and responsive approach of eminent and globally renowned practitioner and educator Otto Koenigsberger to urban planning. In addition, he established the Development Planning Unit and served as its first director.
Eligibility for Otto Koenigsberger Scholarship (OKS) at University College London:
- The applicant must be enrolled full-time in the Development Planning Unit Master's program and be considered an international student.
- The candidate has to have an unconditional offer of admission to DPU in hand.
Value of the Scholarship:
The grant provides for a partial tuition remission.
