New Zealand Institute of Economic Research Scholarship in Māori Economics at Victoria University of Wellington

This scholarship is funded by the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER) and has been established to support students studying economics who have an interest in the Māori economy or issues affecting Māori.

Eligibility Criteria for New Zealand Institute of Economic Research Scholarship in Māori Economics:

Applicants must:

• Be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be fully enrolled in a full-time programme at the university with courses in Finance, Economics, Business, or Commerce
• Be in second, third, or fourth year of study
• Demonstrate an interest in the Māori economy, issues affecting Māori, and an interest in working in Māori economics in the future

Value of New Zealand Institute of Economic Research Scholarship in Māori Economics:

The scholarship offers 1 award valued at NZD $7,500.

Application Process:

• A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date.
• Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
