Eligibility for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships 2024:
50% Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of one of the following nations: Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Tanzania, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, or India
- For fee-paying purposes, the application should be considered international
- The applicant has to have an offer to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program that meets the requirements at the University's Newcastle city center campus for the 2024–2025 academic year.
- The candidate should already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent
100% Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of one of the following nations: India, Ukraine, or the USA
- For fee-paying purposes, the application should be considered international
- The applicant has to have an offer to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program that meets the requirements at the University's Newcastle city center campus for the 2024–2025 academic year.
- The candidate should already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent.
Non-Eligible Programs:
- Postgraduate taught and research degree applicants
- Medicine MB BS, Dental Surgery BDS, and Oral and Dental Health Sciences applicants
- Applicants applying through Clearing
- Study abroad and exchange students
- Current, registered students at the university who have already commenced their undergraduate degree at the time of the award. Awards cannot be made retrospectively
- Applicants initially assessed as international for fee purposes but whose fees change to “home”
- Students repeating courses
- Study abroad and exchange students

Application Process:
The applicant must submit a separate online application for this grant and their course. To apply, they must already have an offer to study from the university.
