Michael Sheehan Memorial Prize in Taxation at University College Cork 2026

Introduction:

The Michael Sheehan Memorial Prize in Taxation was established by Deloitte Ireland in memory of Michael Sheehan, a UCC graduate, chartered accountant, and Deloitte partner who made significant contributions as a tax advisor and educator.

Eligibility criteria for the Michael Sheehan Memorial Prize in Taxation at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be current UCC students.
• The applicants must be enrolled in the Master of Accounting (MAcc) program.
• The applicants must complete the taxation modules AC6216 – Taxation (Winter sitting) and AC6217 – Taxation (Summer sitting)
• The scholarship is open to all nationals.

Application Process:

• There is no separate application process required; you will be considered automatically.

Value of the Scholarship:

• EUR 750 is awarded to a full-time student.
