The University of Saskatchewan (USask) offers the Indigenous Students from the USA Awards to recognize the academic achievement of eligible Indigenous students from the United States entering an undergraduate degree programme.

Eligibility for Indigenous Students From the USA Awards at the University of Saskatchewan 2026:

• Applicants must be Indigenous students from the United States.
• Applicants must be entering an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Saskatchewan.
• Applicants must verify their Indigenous membership by providing the required documentation in accordance with the University's Indigenous Truth Policy.

Application Process for Indigenous Students From the USA Awards at the University of Saskatchewan 2026:

• Applicants are automatically considered upon applying for undergraduate admission to the University of Saskatchewan.

Value: CAD 10,000

Note:

• Applicants with fewer than 18 transferable post-secondary credit units will receive preference, although transfer students may also be considered.
