The HASS Globetrotters Grant is for HASS students wishing to travel for an extra-curricular opportunity that enhances their employability. There is no better way to develop many of the qualities that employers expect than to experience the world beyond your environment.

Eligibility criteria for the HASS Globetrotters Grant at the University of Queensland in 2026:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a program administered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, including dual programs.
  • Applicants must have completed at least one semester of full-time study in an approved program.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants must identify an extracurricular opportunity that will enhance their employability and career prospects.
  • Applicants must have been accepted into their proposed program or activity by the host organization.
  • Applicants must not have previously received this grant.
