Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award

Introduction:

The Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award supports Indigenous students by providing financial assistance and leadership development opportunities to help them succeed as current and future leaders, innovators, and community builders.

Eligibility criteria of the Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award:

The applicant must have accepted an offer of admission to a full-time Level 1 (first-year) program starting in Fall 2026.
The applicant must identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit (FNMI) and provide the required proof of Indigenous identity.
The applicant must participate in the Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award program and meet the required academic progress and participation requirements to continue receiving payments.

Application process for Indigenous Leadership & Community Impact Award:

Submit the award application during the application period and complete the required in-person or virtual meeting with a Transition and Learning Advisor.
