Guizhou Government Scholarships for Southeast Asia, 2019 is providing full and partial scholarships to excellent Southeast Asian students.
Eligibility for Guizhou Government Scholarships for Southeast Asia, 2019:
- Applicants should be citizens of any country excluding the People’s Republic of China and be healthy and friendly to China.
- Candidates must obey Chinese laws and regulations, school rules and regulations.
- Applicants are required to hold a foreign passport.
- Applicants of doctoral degree programs must have a master’s degree and be academically excellent and be less than 45 years old.
- Applicants of master's degree programs must have a bachelor degree and be academically excellent and be less than 35 years old.
- Applicants of bachelor degree programs should be senior high school graduates and be academically excellent and be less than 30 years old.
- Applicants of General Scholar programs must be less than 50 years old and will study in Guizhou for more than a year.
- Applicants of Chinese language learners must be senior high school graduates and have an above education background.
- Visiting scholars should at least be a university graduate or enrolled university sophomore or higher.
- Candidates in receipt of other scholarships from the Chinese Government are ineligible to apply.

- Copy of passport
- Copy of highest degree, diploma, certificates
- Copy of academic transcripts, physical examination certificate
- 2 recommendation letters (Doctoral and master's degree applicants)
- Study plan in not more than 400 words or research plan in no more than 800 words (Doctoral or Master’s degree applicants)
- Valid documents of legal guardians (for applicants under 18 years)
- Agreement copy (for intercollegiate exchange program applicants)
- Copy of HSK certificate (if available)
- Translation documents (for documents in languages other than Chinese/English)
