Overview

Monash University has initiated the K.C. Kuok Scholarship to support financially disadvantaged students to reach their full potential by undertaking study at Monash University. Students also have access to study and social support and the chance to apply for internships and other non-financial opportunities from Monash University.

Eligibility for the K.C. Kuok Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be citizens of mainland China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, or a Southeast Asian country.
  • Candidates should apply for a full-time Monash course offer in any single degree at Monash University or at a campus in Australia.
  • Applicants must not have previously studied at Monash.
  • Students should demonstrate that they come from low-income households.

Note: Double Degree programs are not eligible for this scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Tuition fees
  • AUD 14,000 allowance per year
  • On-campus accommodation. You must apply directly to Monash Residential Services (MRS) for on-campus accommodation.
  • Student visa costs
  • Additional AUD 3,000 one-off establishment payment in the first year
  • One return flight in the first year.
