Eligibility Criteria for the Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start City of Sails Award:

To be eligible, applicants must:

Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
Be normally live beyond the Auckland metropolitan area.
Be a full-time first-year student in a BE (Hons) or BE (Hons) conjoint degree at the University of Auckland.

Selection Criteria for the Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start City of Sails Award:

NCEA Level 2+ or equivalent
Personal statement and interview
Personal achievements (sports, leadership, music, community)

Value of the Faculty of Engineering and Design BE(Hons) Kick Start City of Sails Award:

Up to six awards, each valued at up to $2,500 and for a period of one year, will be made annually.
