Eligibility Criteria for Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS):

Applicants must:

  • Hold a non-EU nationality only.
  • Have excellent academic results and rank among the top percentile of students.
  • Not be entitled to receive a Dutch study grant or loan (“Studiefinanciering”).
  • Not receive another full-coverage scholarship for the same study period.
  • Submit a complete application to an eligible Master’s programme at UvA Economics and Business before the deadline.
  • Be able to comply with Dutch visa regulations set by the Dutch Immigration Service (IND).

Value of Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS):

The scholarship provides:

  • Full tuition fee coverage
  • Additional allowance of €5,000
