Assistive Technology Award at Red River College Polytech 2026

Introduction: 

Assistive Technology Award at Red River College Polytech assists students by administering scholarships, bursaries, and awards that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations, and individuals.

Eligibility requirement:

• Must be a student with a documented disability registered with Student Accessibility Services or Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services at RRC Polytech, and be eligible to continue in their program with satisfactory academic progress.
• Must not be eligible for government or external assistive technology funding (e.g., Canada Student Grant) and must not be sponsored by a government or community agency.

Application Process:

• Submit a joint written letter with your Student Accessibility Services Accessibility Specialist or Deaf & Hard of Hearing Manager requesting the specific assistive technology needed at RRC Polytech.
• The letter must explain how the equipment will support your learning and be submitted to the Student Accessibility Services Assistive Technologist by the deadline.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 1,000 award is available for a student
