Allan and Louise Windas Bursary Award at Red River College Polytech 2026

Introduction: 

Established by the Allan and Louise Windas Bursary Award, provided through The Winnipeg Foundation every academic year, Red River College Polytechnic assists students by administering scholarships, bursaries, and awards that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations, and individuals.

Eligibility requirement:

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in an eligible Trades program (minimum 5-month program) at Red River College Polytechnic.
• Must demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic progress.

Application Process:

• Submit the completed application form by the deadline (October 15 or March 15) to Red River College Polytechnic.
• Ensure eligibility by being a full-time Trades student in a 5-month or longer program, and provide proof of financial need and good academic standing.
   

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 750 is available to assist full-time students

Polytech programs are: Automotive Technician; Cabinetry & Woodworking Technology; Carpentry; CNC Machinist Technician; CNC Machining and Advanced Technology; Collision Repair & Refinishing; Electrical; Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic; Manufacturing CAD; Marine and Powersports Technician; Plumbing; Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician or Welding.
