Atticus Award to Support South East Manitoba Region at Red River College Polytech 2026

Introduction: 

The Atticus Award to Support South East Manitoba Region at Red River College Polytech assists students by administering scholarships, bursaries, and awards donated by concerned corporations, community organizations, and individuals.

Eligibility requirement:

• Must be a resident of Southeastern Manitoba (such as Piney, Reynolds, Stuartburn, La Broquerie, Ste Anne, Tache, Hanover, Steinbach, and Ste Anne) and be accepted into a program at RRC Polytech (preferably Steinbach Campus).
• Must demonstrate financial need, maintain satisfactory academic standing (C+ or higher), and submit proof of residency along with a short statement explaining why they should be selected.
• Must complete the general application form, including required documents and a personal statement outlining why they should receive the award.

Application Process:

• Submit the general application form for the Atticus Award at RRC Polytech along with required documents.
• Include proof of Southeastern Manitoba residency and a short statement explaining why you should be selected for the award.

Value of the scholarship:

• Award funds to cover up to 50% of a student’s annual tuition cost, to a maximum of CAD 4,000, are available annually. The CAD 4,000 in award funds may be distributed amongst up to 3 students.
• may be split into two payments based on the program and tuition payment requirements.

NOTE:

It is open to all nationals, but the preference will be given to a student who is a Southeastern Manitoba resident and who is accepted to a program at Red River College Polytechnic, Steinbach Campus.
