Angas Engineering Travel Scholarship at University of Adelaide 2023

Background:

The Angas Engineering Scholarship was established by the Honourable John Howard Angas MLC in 1878.  The scholarship was to be used to pay for fees and overseas travel associated with professional development for engineering scholars.

Eligibility for the Angas Engineering Travel Scholarship:

• Applicants must be undertaking the second, third, fourth or fifth year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Civil) or associated double degrees.
• Applicant must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa.
• Candidates must be enrolled on a full-time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place.
• Students should have the coursework component of the overseas study pre-approved by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology prior to an application for enrolment being made, and applicants must submit evidence of approval to study from the overseas Host Organisation as part of the application process.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application.
