UniSQ Elite Athlete Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland
In 2025, University of Southern Queensland will offer four University of Southern Queensland Elite Athlete Scholarships to support students commencing or continuing their studies who are registered, or in the process of registering, for the UniSQ Elite Athlete Program.

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. The applicant should be a domestic student currently residing in Australia and be registered, or have a registration in progress, and accepted for the UniSQ Elite Athlete Program by the scholarship application closing date.
2. The applicant should be commencing or continuing their studies at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate coursework program in Study Period 2 2025 (e.g., Trimester 2 2025).
3. Continuing students must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 as at the release of results for Study Period 3 2024 (e.g., Trimester 3 2024).

Selection Criteria: 

1. Address each personal statement question (max 250 words each): impact of commitment and experience in sport on personal development, adversity/challenges faced in your sport, and how you will utilise your sporting background to influence your community or career.
2. Complete the sporting profile task within the application, outlining personal sporting achievements.
3. Provide documentation supporting claims in your sporting profile, which may include: documentation from sporting authorities, signed letters from coaches or managers, membership to sporting institutions, or evidence of training/sporting commitments.
4. Provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process: final year school report card or post-secondary transcript for commencing students, or an unofficial academic transcript current as at your scholarship application submission date for continuing students.

Application Process: Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.

Award: A maximum value of AUD 5,000 to be paid in one instalment.

Deadline: Monday 12 May 2025 at 11:59pm (AEST).

Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
