York Performance Award at the University of York

The York Performance Award, funded through a generous endowment by Sir Ron and Lady Barbara Cooke, supports University of York students in showcasing their talents through drama and/or music performances at venues outside of York.

Eligibility Criteria of the York Performance Award:

Applicants must:

Be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student
Be studying in:
- School of Arts and Creative Technologies or
- English and Related Literature
Be part of a team project (minimum 4 students) involved in the performance
Submit a distinctive and ambitious performance project (music and/or drama)
Show evidence of prior collaboration within the team
Plan performances at a public venue outside York
Ensure the project includes at least one performance in York

Application Process:

Submit application via email to the School of Arts and Creative Technologies
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview (Zoom)
