Eligibility for the Bartlett & Buckley Scholarship:
- Applicants must have achieved a minimum of Merit at NCEA Level 2, or the equivalent through examinations such as the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) examination.
- Candidates should be studying at NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent) towards University Entrance in the year of application.
- Students should be intending to enroll full-time (a full-time academic year comprises 120 points) in the first year of an undergraduate degree programme1 offered by the Waikato Management School at the University of Waikato for the first time2 in the year after application.
- Applicants should be intending to enroll in at least one paper in Accounting in the year after application and be a New Zealand citizen, NZ Permanent Resident, NZ Resident Class Visa holder, or Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident domiciled in NZ.
Value of the Scholarship:
Two scholarships of $1,500 will be offered each year and paid directly into the recipient’s bank account in one lump after the withdrawal date for A Trimester.
