Overview:

UTS Science Postgraduate Academic Merit Scholarship was established to support high performing commencing domestic students to undertake a Faculty of Science postgraduate Masters by coursework program.

Eligibility for UTS Science Postgraduate Academic Merit Scholarship:

Citizenship/visa: Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa.
Study load/location: Commencing full-time, on-campus at UTS in 2025 (Autumn or Spring).
Eligible Faculty of Science courses:
- C04241 Master of Science
- C04265 Master of Science (Extension)
- C04390 Master of Medical Biotechnology
- C04388 Master of Biotechnology (Extension)
- C04389 Master of Philosophy in Medical Biotechnology
- C04391 Master of Forensic Science
- C04392 Master of Forensic Science (Extension)
- C04393 Master of Philosophy in Forensic Science
Admission: Must meet the entry criteria for the selected course.
Academic requirement: Minimum GPA 5.7/7 in the most recent qualification used for admission.
Scholarship history: Must not have previously received a scholarship for any eligible UTS Postgraduate Science course.
CSP exclusion: Commonwealth Supported Place holders are not eligible.

Selection Process:

Academic merit in the most recently completed qualification as the basis of admission and recognised by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Science postgraduate coursework program.
