Eligibility for Nokia Visiting Professor Scholarships:

Applicants Must:

Include a clear, concise and realistic research plan for the visit.
Be distinguished foreign professors wishing to work in Finland in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), or be deserving Finnish professors working at respected foreign universities.
The minimum period for the visit must be two months.
Visitors coming to Finland must actively participate in research and teaching during their stay.

Value of Nokia Visiting Professor Scholarships:

Scholarship is intended for supporting travel and accommodation expenses, not for applicant’s salary.

The scholarship amount will be awarded to eligible students (specific prize value may vary).

Key Application Dates:

21 May 2026 (decisions available by 19 June 2026).
5 November 2026 (decisions available by 23 December 2026).
