Eligibility for Nokia Visiting Professor Scholarships:

Applicants Must:

  • Include a clear, concise and realistic research plan for the visit.
  • Be distinguished foreign professors wishing to work in Finland in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), or be deserving Finnish professors working at respected foreign universities.
  • The minimum period for the visit must be two months.
  • Visitors coming to Finland must actively participate in research and teaching during their stay. 

Value of Nokia Visiting Professor Scholarships:

Scholarship is intended for supporting travel and accommodation expenses, not for applicant’s salary.

The scholarship amount will be awarded to eligible students (specific prize value may vary).
