Eligibility Criteria for Transfer Alumni Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship at Mississippi State University:

• Be an entering transfer student
• Have a minimum overall transferable GPA of 2.5 as computed by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions
• Be assessed non-resident tuition at MSU
• Be the child of an MSU alumnus/alumna (parent must have received a degree from MSU or completed a minimum of 48 credit hours toward a degree at MSU)
• Have alumni status verified by the MSU Office of the Registrar

Value of Transfer Alumni Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship at Mississippi State University:

Recipients receive $5,000 per year, renewable annually provided the student maintains a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 and continuous full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester).

Application Process:

• Alumni parent status must be verified by the MSU Office of the Registrar
• Eligibility is determined through the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions upon applying as a transfer student.
