The Sullivan Writing Scholarship

The Sullivan Writing Scholarship provides support to academically qualified students with strong writing skills who plan to major in English or minor in Creative Writing at the university.

Eligibility criteria for the Sullivan Writing Scholarship:

• The applicant must be a high school student applying to Stetson University.
• The applicant must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
• The applicant must plan to major in English or minor in Creative Writing.
• The applicant must demonstrate strong creative writing talent.

Application process for the Sullivan Writing Scholarship:

• Applicants must first apply to Stetson University.
• Applicants must submit the application through the Hatter Portal.
• Applicants must submit a creative writing sample and an essay on "Why Write?".
• Applicants must submit the Sullivan Creative Writing Scholarship application and the essay by December 1.

Award: up to USD 7,000 per year
