The J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship is a prestigious, nationally competitive award that seeks high-achieving student scholars like you, with a proven track record of academic excellence and leadership from around the world.

Eligibility criteria for the J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship:

• The applicant must have a high school GPA of 3.7 or above.
• The applicant must have leadership potential and may be future Stetson student body presidents, as well as members of Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, and Phi Beta Kappa.
• The applicant should show involvement in academic, athletic, community, service, or other co-curricular activities.
• Participation in athletics or fitness activities demonstrating physical wellness is expected, but varsity sports are not required.
• The applicant must demonstrate personal achievement, self-motivation, and potential for future leadership.
• Creativity through arts, music, theater, writing, debate, or scientific activities is valued.

Application process for the J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship:

• The applicant must apply for admission to Stetson University first.
• The applicant must submit all required documents to the Office of Admissions by December 1.
