Honors College Scholarship

The Honors College Scholarship provides financial support and study abroad funding, along with opportunities for leadership and community involvement through the Honors College Association.

Eligibility Criteria for the Honors College Scholarship:

  • Applicants must have applied to the university.
  • Applicants must be first-year freshmen.
  • Applicants must be classified as international students.
  • Applicants must have completed 21 Honors credits to graduate as a member in good standing, achieved in various ways.
  • Applicants must have a superscore of 28 or higher on the ACT OR a 3.85 unweighted GPA, AND meet all admission requirements as determined by the PSU Office of Admissions.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA.

Application Process for the Honors College Scholarship:

  • Interested candidates must apply online through the university's website.
  • Upon acceptance, applicants must attend the Honors College Overnight Orientation.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Honors College Scholars will receive USD 6,000 for four consecutive years.
  • Honors College Scholars also receive a one-time stipend for any faculty-led or independent study abroad program worth USD 2,000
