The Professor Richard Terry Memorial Scholarship for September 2025

Northumbria is pleased to announce The Professor Richard Terry Memorial Scholarship for Postgraduate Humanities students wishing to study at Northumbria in September 2025.  

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must be a UK/Home applicant with 'Home' fee status - This includes students domiciled in Jersey, Guernsey, The Channel Islands, Ireland and Isle of Man
• Apply to study on one of the Full-Time one year eligible Humanties programmes below, commencing September 2025 at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus
• Meet the terms and conditions and accept your offer
• Be a self-funded student and not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer funded

Application process - There is a competitive selection process for this scholarship scheme.  

• Applicants need to apply via online written application.  In no more than 3000 characters (500 words); 'What are your career aspirations within Humanties and how would this scholarship help you achieve these?' - Applications will be considered on the strength of response against a marking criteria.
