Eligibility Criteria for Forever Surrey Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be a home/UK student
  • Be a first-year undergraduate student starting in September 2026
  • Be enrolled in any undergraduate degree (excluding foundation year students)
  • Meet at least one widening participation (WP) criterion, such as:
    • From a low-income background
    • From areas with low higher education participation or high deprivation
    • Care leaver or in local authority care
    • No parental history of higher education
    • Disability, young carer, or estranged from family
    • Refugee/asylum seeker
    • From underrepresented ethnic or community backgrounds
    • From non-professional family backgrounds

Value of Forever Surrey Scholarship:

  • £4,000 per year for up to 3 years (£12,000 total)
  • Additional £4,000 if a Professional Training Year is undertaken
