The Jacob Markovitz Memorial Scholarship at Yorkville University:

The Jacob Markovitz Memorial Scholarship is a need-based scholarship for new students entering their first trimester of the Master of Education or Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Eligibility requirements for the Jacob Markovitz Memorial Scholarship at Yorkville University:

• The applicants must be a new student entering the first trimester of an eligible master’s program.
• The applicants must have submitted a complete admission application to Yorkville University.
• The applicants must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant (permanent resident) in Canada.
• If awarded, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in each trimester of the first year.

Application Process:

• First, submit a completed application for admission to the relevant master’s program.
• Then complete and submit the scholarship application form with the required supporting documents.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The value is equivalent to one year of full tuition. One scholarship is awarded in each master’s program in each academic trimester.

NOTE:

• Scholarship funds are applied directly toward tuition from the second trimester onward and are not paid in cash.
