The Tasmanian International Scholarship provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).

Eligibility for the Tasmanian International Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be an international student
Be a commencing student (new enrolment, not current students)
Submit an International Student Application to study at the University of Tasmania
Be applying for an undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dementia Care, and AMC Seafaring courses) or
a postgraduate coursework degree (with some course exceptions)
Demonstrate academic merit based on prior studies (secondary, diploma, or degree level)
Hold a qualification of at least one-year duration prior to commencing study

Prize/Award Amount

25% reduction in registered tuition fees
Applied for the full duration of the course

Application Process:

No separate application required
Applicants are automatically assessed upon submission of their International Student Application.
