The Tasmanian International Scholarship provides commencing international students with a 25% reduction in registered tuition fees for the duration of their course (provided satisfactory grades are maintained).
Eligibility for the Tasmanian International Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be an international student
- Be a commencing student (new enrolment, not current students)
- Submit an International Student Application to study at the University of Tasmania
- Be applying for an undergraduate degree (excluding Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dementia Care, and AMC Seafaring courses) or
- a postgraduate coursework degree (with some course exceptions)
- Demonstrate academic merit based on prior studies (secondary, diploma, or degree level)
- Hold a qualification of at least one-year duration prior to commencing study
Prize/Award Amount
- 25% reduction in registered tuition fees
- Applied for the full duration of the course
Application Process:
- No separate application required
- Applicants are automatically assessed upon submission of their International Student Application.
